MANGABasara first ran as a monthly installment on the shoujo magazine Betsucomi (aka Bessatsu Shoujo Comics) from September of 1990 to June of 1998. Subsequent tankôbons were compiled as 27 volumes, and published from April of 1991 to March of 2000 by Flower Comics. Basara has since been published in Chinese, French, and as of 2003, English as well. Before Basara became available in English, the only translations available were fan-translations. That project is still ongoing, although I've become way too busy to contribute much. Anyone who is willing and able to translate Basara, please visit Fuuko's website on the subject or email me. |
